Hello,

I lost all my menus and ribbins on my word 2007 and I don't know how to get
them back. On my word doc, all I have is my page to type on and the vertical
scroll bar. Can someone help me get my menus and ribbons back?

No, the entire upper information was gone including the menus and ribbins
along with the Office button. I called my school's tech help and they had me
repair microsoft office and it came back. I don't know what happened but now
it is fixed. All I had when the information disappeared was the page to type
on and the vertical scroll bar. What do you think caused this to happen? I
would like to know so I won't do it again. I am a hot keys person so I don't
know if I hit a couple keys at the same time or if I had a virus but I do
have security.

Do they come back if you press Ctrl+F1?

If doing a repair fixed it, then it's not likely to have been hitting the
wrong key. My guess would usually be that something newly installed
overwrote one of the files that Word uses for rending the GUI. But, without
more information, that's a wild guess at best. Hard to imagine that a virus
would do it... virii generally are a bit more destructive.
