Dood day!
I'd like to clean my disk. I launched function "Disk Cleaner" in Windows XP.
The system offerd me to delete the files, which were generated by indexing
service.
After removing these files I lost all my files on my partition, but the
folder were OK.

Do you know someone where is the problem and how the files get back?

And now some relevant information:
- Windows XP SP2
- HDD 120 MB - C: 10MB a D: 110 MB, for this partition a launched "disk
cleaner", It offered me to remove ( if i remember well) proximetly 236 MB in
the item files by the indexing service.
- In the past i have installed Google Desktop Search, which in the
background indexed files for searching, I´m not sure, if it´s an importent
information.
- This same problem i have for second.

Thanks for reaction.

Hi

Which options in Disk Cleanup did you enable? What kind of files have gone
missing? Data files, Windows files? System Restore may recover them
dependent on what kind of files they were.

I selected in Disk Clean up that I want to remove the "files which were
created by indexing service". I'm not sure, how "files which were created by
indexing service" is call in english verison of windows.
I lost all my file on this partition, but what is interesting, that the
files with paramert "system" were all right.
System is instaledn in another partition.
