I keep updating

For some reason, I keep updating the same security update
for windows xp (kb835732) I have installed this same one
22 times, and yet it keeps coming back up to say install
it. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Is it listed in Add/Remove Programs ? If not, download it from here:

Security Update for Windows XP (KB835732)

Save it to your Hard Drive. Close IE. Reboot to Safe Mode and
install it from there.
If it is listed in Add/Remove Programs, uninstall it, and then do
the above.
