I keep getting a error message when using cd drive(D:\)

can'nt install or play any games.keep getting error
message D:\ is not accessible.The devise is not
ready. I've been into systems and the hard drive has
no problems.
 
i dont know what to do but i have the same problem so if
u know how to fix this problem, it would be nice if u
send me a message @ (e-mail address removed)

Is the CD drive showing up correctly in the BIOS?

Is it appearing correctly in Windows Explorer?

Is this a new issue and if so, have you installed any updates recently?

Do you have Quicktime installed? If so, remove the qttask from startup
using MSCONFIG.
