i installed the japanes font pack and........

i just installed the japanes font pack from the windows xp
cd so i could display the Kanji correctly in japanese
dictionaries and now whenver i open a program with buttons
that have english letters on them ie:start,open or whater
it may say they are displayed BLANK and the screen is funny
its just set up weird and enlarged now and i dont like it.
so my question is how do i fix this. id ask microsaoft my
self but they seem to thin i have used all of my instances
so i cant get support even though only one is displayed
when i check the status of mine plust that was an
INSTALATION issue which we as consumers are supposed to
have unlimited of but anyway. if someone could please help
me id be appreciative. also one more thing. the way i got
it installed was by doing a yahoo search for TVTokyo and
going to that site and it brought up the dialog screen
saying that it cant properly display the characters on this
website and asked if i would like to install the font pack
so i could and i said yes. as it was installing from the cd
the IE screen stopped responding but it kepty installing
the font so im not sure if it actually finished completely
or not i assume so as i can view them but im not sure if IE
not reponding caused this whole mess.

Same thing here, after IE installed the Japanese language
pack, my dialog boxes went blank. Good job, Microsoft.
Self-corrupting software. Now way to uninstall that I see.

Well, McAfee, on my nightly complete scan, turned up a virus
in c:\windows\system\kctl32.dll - virus labeled ProxyCyarmy, but
was unable to clean it. I booted into Safe Mode w/cmd prompt,
renamed the file _ktcl32.dll, and rebooted. Things look ok
now. Perhaps the font pack installation is being used to trojan
in something? Wish I knew the web page that I visited-IE doesn't
remember any history from yesterday. Ah well, back to Firefox.
