I installed IE7 now having multiple problems with Outlook 2000.

When I installed IE7 I began to have odd problems with Outlook 2000, it now
takes about three times longer to load than it did, when it does load
Messages with Auto Preview seems to lock up taking minutes to display, text
from the previous email remains in the preview field when I select the next
message. Can’t access hyperlinks from within Outlook and other links (
Windows Update) will often launch 2 browsers and lock the system. Spam and
unsolicited email has increased 400% since installation. Realizing that IE7
was the culprit I tried to restore my system only to find my restore points
deleted. No patches that address this issue and no posts by other users who
are affected. I tried to reinstall both Outlook and IE7 as well as deleting
other possible conflicting programs, but didn't help. This has almost
rendered Outlook unusable, any possible ideas?
