This is probably a daft question but I can't find frontpage in my windows xp
home edition. I've just upgraded my pc from win98 which had it built into the
browser. Please help. I only want to create a small site with some pictures.
talktalk.net will host it free for me. Thanks ;)

It's because you didn't buy FrontPage. It's available at your local
computer store.

Frontpage doesn't come with XP and it never came with Windows 98 either.

FrontPage Express came with Windows 98 - I think that's what the OP is
referring to.

Actually, it came as part of Internet Explorer.

....and, when upgrading to another version of IE, the FP express goes away.

The premiere add-in and software source
for Microsoft FrontPage.

The OP was asking about the version of "FrontPage" that was on his computer
before he upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows XP Home. That was FrontPage
Express (a version of the FrontPage Editor that was part of FrontPage 98).
It was only an HTML editor; it had no site management capabilities and did
not require a web server. And it was free, so to speak.
