i upgraded my desktop computer motherboard & processor
and memory, i was running windows 98se then i upgraded to
XP pro , plus! & Plus digital media edition and i
activated it. thing are runing ok for the most part but
my processor is only runing at 1.8GHz and when i move it
up to 2.2GHz the computer locks up on boot until i go
back and change it back to 1.8 GHz . i wrote to the
motherboard company they said i needed to do a clean
install, by formating my harddrive and install the
motherboard drivers first. So here is my problem
i know how to format i've done it so many times and re-
installed my software. But with win xp pro ,plus! & plus!
Ditital media edition all have been actived if i
reinstall windows package it will tell me i need to
activate my windows then it will come back and say its
already been activated .... so does anyone know what
files i need to save and put back after i re-install
windows i do have all my product keys......
