I have trouble receiving some, but not all, e-mails

I am trying to receive e-mail from two trusted sources. One is sent from a
charter.net acct. and the other from a gte.net acct. These are returned to
the sender. I do receive other e-mails including .net addresses. I am
using Windows XP Home Edition 2002 sp 1 and Office Outlook 2003. Here are
the details from the Charter acct sender:
Reporting-MTA: dns; mtai02.charter.net
Arrival-Date: Wed, 30 Nov 2005 12:38:45 -0500
Received-From-MTA: dns; mxip36-10.charter.net (10.20.203.76)

Final-Recipient: RFC822; <my e-mail address>
Action: failed
Status: 5.1.1
Remote-MTA: dns; mxgl.wow.lk (202.124.160.19)
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 5.7.1 Access denied
I hope that helps. Thanks

....to be more specific - your server may have blocked it due to anti-spam
configuration. Perhaps charter.net is on a black-list somewhere that your
server is referencing?
