i have to click back on my screen constantly.....

I'm having to constantly click back on my screen to type,
as though it's going to sleep without going to black.
It's driving me nuts. Does anyone know why, or how to
fix the problem?? HELP!
 
on desktop right click. properties> on the screen saver
tab, see what you have the screen saver set at, on power
options at the bottom, click> power > see what your
monitor is set to turn off at.
