When i try to open certain files on the internet espcially games, i get a
blank screen with a small black border around it and a small box in the
corner of it with a x in it. i realize i cannot open it because my
computer(windows xp) doesnt have the software to support it. I used to be
able to do open these programs and files on the internet, but one day i tried
to clean out my computer and started deleteing things and uninstalling
programs. And also, now my media player will not open, i tried everything
from reinstalling and so on. Even when i try to do my windows updates i get
an error message telling me to contact my hardware vendor for assistance.
WHAT QUICK FIX POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS DO I HAVE ? IF ANY? I CANT EVEN PLAY MUSIC!

Well - your explanation of what you did is not very specific - saying you
started "deleteing things and uninstalling programs" sounds like you just
did it randomly - without research or knowledge of what you were doing.

You might be able to fix things yourself with a repair installation - but
that may not cover everything you uninstalled/deleted.

ty but u didnt help me at all i just wanted your advice on the situation at
hand, i described some of my problems and u did nothing to help me understand
whats going on.MY MEDIA PLAYER WONT OPEN!!!!!

That's because you were extremely vague about what you had tried. You don't
take your car to a garage and say "it doesn't work" now, do you? You have
to tell the mechanic WHAT "doesn't work" and WHAT (in detail) you have done
to try to rectify the problem. You need to be SPECIFIC.

Hi Roberto, sorry for the problems you are having. Im having the same exact
ones, and have bought norton, regisrty mechanic, and the game from a
different place, and still it doesnt work. It was working fine until I tried
updating my computer. I dont know what I should have or shouldn't have
updated, but I thought I was just doing what it said, how when you play a
game and it doesnt work so a error page pops up and if you send it, it
sometimes will tell you how to fix it, by downloading this or that and making
sure things are updated. I called up technical support where I bought it, and
he seemed more confused then I am. I dont know what I need to play the game,
or how to look to figure it out. Its super frustrating, cause I want to do it
by myself so I keep trying different things( I know thats not good) but I
also dont want to mess it up any more. Good luch to you!
