I have reversed @ and ". Don't know how but want them back again.

I have tried going from US language to UK and back again but that didn't help.

You probably selected an international keyboard layout in Windows. See
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306560 "How To Use the United
States-International Keyboard Layout in Windows XP", except that you
want to select the standard U.S. keyboard instead of the
U.S.-International keyboard.

That's interesting; I use US Int'l keyboard, and my @ and " haven't
moved.

It is not the language that matters so much as the keyboard mapping. Check
your keyboard choice in Regional settings > Languages > Details.
