I have re-installed XP on hundreds of my customer's computers because of
virus infections, corrupted OS files, hardware failures etc, but XP has
always reinstalled without any problems. Install the software, install
the drivers, and the machine is back to normal. What is going on here?
Vista is just not installing like it should.

You can not seriously think that you will obtain any beneficial help with a

speaks volumes about your level of competency. How the **** do you
think we're supposed to figure out what is wrong if you won't give us a
clue?

Do you honestly think someone who regards re-installation of an OS a
decent way to repair a PC is intelligent enough to ask a question?

I for one really wish your parents would check in on you a little more
