has excel totally disappear or have you just lost a short cut from your
desktop / start menu or whatever? ... to check, double click on one of your
"remaining" excel files and see if it opens up ....
if it has totally disappear and you've not uninstalled it, i would run a
virus scan on the sytem and then if all ok, reinstall from the disks.
