I have a naughty link stuck in my mouse's right click
menu in Explorer.
Any ideas on how to remove it?

Thanks

when you see the shortcut....move cursor to hilite it and
pick right mouse button and select delete.

Try this but first create a System Restore Point. To do that go to
Start->Help and Support->Pick a task and click the link to System Restore.
Follow the wizard to Create a new restore point.

1) Go to Start -> Run -> type regedit and navigate here:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers (note the asterisk "*")

2) Click the the + sign next to the ContextMenuHandlers key, to expand it.
Now you will see some of the programs that have added items to your
right-click menu. Simply delete the program keys you don't want, exit the
Registry and refresh.

To remove entries from right-click menu on folders and/or drives navigate
here HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers for folders -or-
here HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers for drives, and
follow the same procedure as you did with files.

Hi,

For IE delete the entries from here: Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Directory\shell
/top10faqs.htm
