How can I show only a mail recipient their own name when I am actually
sending the mail to a large distribution list of recipients? So many names
takes too much space, yet I have mail I send to dozens of people. I am using
Outlook 2002.

Thank you

Two choices - use the BCC field for the recipients & your own in the TO
field - or use a mail merge to electronic mail if these are individual
contacts.

To include the individual's name in that recipient's
message, the mail-merge technique is the only choice.
However, the big drawback is this. If you are sending to
1,200 individuals, you will send 1,200 individual messages.
Monstrous use of bandwidth.
