I have a Framework error...When i startup and other situations....

When my computer starts up I get a error also when i run my Catalyst Control
Center or Auto Assault (a game). Probebly for other things too but I havent
clicked everything and wait.

The error goes like this!

"This application or DLL
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\mscorwks.dll is not a vaild
Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

Then I click "ok" and i get this error!

"C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\mscorwks.dll could not be
loaded."

I am running Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2

I tried Windows Update for the new Framework update but the install is
unsusesful even with my firewall off.

I am sorry if I do not provide enough information, please state what should
be said and im sorry if I am repeating this error message.

it seemed like it worked...I got this message:
"Error 1704.An installation for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 is currently
suspended. You must undo changes made by that installation to continue. Do
you want to undo those changes"
Then i clicked ok and everything seemed like it worked and then it said the
installation failed and then setup.exe error thingy came up for sending the
report or not sending the report.

I am sorry that I am not good at explaining!

Actually it works now! I restarted the computer with false hope, and no error
and the programs that had it are working!
