I have a box checked on a fax memo. How can I uncheck it?

I'm guessing it is a normal checkbox. If so open up the forms toolbar and
click on the lock icon. this will allow you to check and uncheck the box.
When done just click the lock again and save.
 
It will be a checked box character from one of the symbol fonts eg
Wingdings. Replace it with an unchecked box character
