I have 2 windows XP OS in my 2 hardisk. How do I uninstall one?

Recently, I bought a new hardisk. I did not know how to go about formatting
it. Hence, I tried booting from my Windows XP CD so as to format my new
hardisk. I accidentally installed the Windows XP Home Edition on that hardisk
as a result Now whenever I boot up my comp, they will ask which OS I would
want to boot up from (my previous default OS was Windows XP Professional
Edition). I thought this problem of choosing which OS to boot up will
disappear if I format my new hardisk by entering into the previous Windows XP
OS format from "My Computer", thus erasing the newly installed Windows XP
Home Edition in the new hardisk. I was wrong. The Windows XP OS was deleted
due to the formating, but the option still remains whenever I boot up. The
computer will still ask which OS I would like to boot up from, even though I
have already removed the Windows XP Home Edition from my old hardisk. How can
I solve this problem? I want the Windows XP Professional Edition to be the
default, and the only, OS to boot up from. Can anyone please help? Please
send your reply to (e-mail address removed) so that I can read it promptly.
I really appreciate it very much.
