I get an error when sending sheet via email

I am running office 2000. I recently updated Outlook to Outlook2003. Now,
none of the other applications can email. When I click the icon I get an
error that the email application can not be found. I was able to send an
excel sheet as an attachment, but I need to be able to send as the message
body.
Any help would be great.
