displaying this message: MS Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error! Program C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\iexplore.exe

Two possibilities, if still no joy please post the complete and exact error
message.

Runtime Library Microsoft Visual C++, Runtime Error Program
C:\Windows\Explorer.exe or Iexplore.exe, abnormal program termination.

The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
It appears that I have both Java(Sun) and MS VM on the PC. After
disabling/unchecking Java(Sun) the runtime error ceased in IE6. Source:
(e-mail address removed).
