I.E. pages loading automatically

Something is on my computer automatically loading internet
explorer with "junk" web pages. I use Windows 2000 and
trying to find MSCOFIG (to see what's in startup)from
Start, Run but Windows cannot find the file.

You probably have been hijacked. Try to run AdAware SE on your computer and
be sure to update it's definition files before scanning. If you don't
