I E opening window ?

I have my icon properties set to open IE 6 maximised and
it does open maximised but when any other application
opens it or when I am linked to another page it opens a
new page at about 2/3 normal width but full height . I
cant find a setting to change this I have even browsed
through the registry .
Can anyone help me ?

I have the same problem.
Try this:
Dont maximise the window that opens, just leave it as it
is and drag the corners and/or sides to the edges of the
screen and click close (X at top). It will then save the
settings for the next time.
This problem may occur again if the window is resized by
you or something else and then closed so i advise to keep
doing this method of enlarging. It is very annoying, isnt
it!
