i have a problem with the IE that whenever i visit any
hindi site the charaters appear in form of boxes and
special characters how do i see the hindi text in my
browser.

Which version of IE (from Help About) and Windows are you using? Which
language version of Windows and IE are you using? Could you post an example
url of a Web site that does not show Hindi characters?
As an example, the following page should show Hindi characters:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/hindi/. Notice that the source contains <meta
http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">, so one
possible problem that may be related to the problem you are seeing is that
the pages you are visiting may not be using the correct charset.
Please post the above requested information so we can investigate.

In the page mentioned above http://www.bbc.co.uk/hindi/ .. The title contains some hindi characters. These characters are not displayed when I view the webpage. I get blocks instead in the title.

I have attached a snapshot.

I am using IE 8.0 on Microsoft Windows XP professional with SP3
