I don't get the (Conents, Answer Wizard, Index) tab?

why don't I get the left side of the help screen (contents, answer wizard,
Index) tab?
 
When you open Word HELP there is an icon (Show/Hide) that opens the left
hand side. You probably have the arrow pointing to the left. Click the
icon and it points to the right and shows the pane.
