Hopefully you stopped using the pc in question as soon as you discovered
and also refrained from using the web on that pc, otherwise, those files
are now unrecoverable.

Stop using the computer now until you try data recovery. Deleted fines
are not removed from a drive, just their directory entry is changed.
The more you use it the greater the chance that the file will be
overwritten.

Additionally maybe this will be a lesson that you should always have a
full and complete backup. If that were the case all that was needed was
to restore from the backup.
