What happens if you choose File from the main menu then click Print, set the
options you want in the Print dialog box, and then click OK?

Thank You.
I tried that way too.but the problem is that when i tried to
print presentation either by clicking on printer icon or by selecting print
in file menu there is no action.and it doesn't open that print dialogue box
in which we basically set printer, print range.and even i uninstall my office
2003 and reinstall it but the problem is still does;nt solved.so what should
i do now.

First, click Start, Settings, Printers. Click your printer to open it, then
choose Printers and click Set As Default.

Actually, if there's already a checkmark next to your printer when you look at
it in Start, Settings, Printers, that's enough. But PowerPoint insists that
you have a printer set as default.

Then start PPT and try printing.

If that doesn't help, uninstall the printer then reinstall it. I used to have
to do this a couple times a year in Win98 to keep PPT happy.

thank you again,
but i am using network printer, printer is not
directly connected to my PC.

That could be part of the problem.

Try using a locally installed printer driver.
It's better with PPT to install the driver locally (you can always map it to a
network shared printer, so the effect is the same)
