I can't view file properties

I am unable to view file properties or sharing when I
right click on a directory and select either option. I
also cannot view the directory properties when I select
from Windows Explorer File -> Properties. Nothing pops
open. Can anyone instruct me on how to fix this? I'm
stumped. I know the properties and sharing must call the
same place because everything else works fine.

Are you logged on with an administrator account? If not
that could be the problem, maybe your account doesnt have
neccesary permissions.
