I can't sign in

I am trying to sign in and it doesn't do anything. I usually am signed in
automatically but not today. And now I can't do it at all. Is anyone else
having problems?

Yes i have. I've haven't been able to sign since about midnight yesterday.

Ditto. Various errors 81000306, 81000314 being the most common. Have tried
rebooting, flushing the dns, removing registry entries for current
user/software/msnmessenger/policies without effect.

I suspect it's the XML patch that went out this week. I seem to remember
loads of people having problems the previous time they patched that.

I havent patched my system since service pack 1 and I am unable to get onto
msn either

Well, I eventually got back in after repairing my LiveMessenger installation
(in control panel, add/remove programs select change for LiveMessenger and
then repair). God know whether that actually fixed anything or whether they
fixed the problem at the server. As I kept getting "the server is too busy"
for email for an hour or so afterwards I suspect it was all a problem at the
server end.
