I can't send emails - I have a blockage in Outbox

I cannot send out emails from Windows Mail Vista. I have a message which
seems stuck in my Outbox it was registered as (SPAM) although it was from a
friendly source, I replied to it, and it is now the last item in my "Sent
Items" box,but it is also still showing in my Outbox display. Since that
date - 15/10/07 I have been unable to send out emails. I have tried to
delete this message, and also tried to move it to Draft but without success.
I am now using Google to send emails, but because I am on Dial Up it is a
very slow process. Can anyone help me.

Someone suggested using - www.oehelp.com/wmutil , and click 'Clear Outbox'.
Do you think that would do the job, Do I leave the Windows Mail closed while
I do it? I am afraid of doing this without assurance that it will not upset
the system. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you, Margaret

There's a newer fix involving a download from Microsoft that works
better. It may a good idea to close Windows Mail while you install
that one. Wait foe someone to tell you where to find the download.

A fix as been released by M$ to resolve the problem of undeletable mails:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista"

It worked, it worked, it worked. We've been trying (on our new HP pc), to
get one message out of the outbox and be able to send and reply to messages
we could receive. Thank you, thank you!
