I can't send e-mails with Outlook

A friend has Microsoft Outlook on a P4 system.
For some time now she have been having problems send mail through Outlook.
If I type 3 letters, the first one will not be sent.
In the Out-box, it places the first e-mail under a category with "no date",
or "undated"
This will then just stay there, and no matter how much I send & receive the
e-mail just stays there!
Some times outlook will also change the e-mails with dates, and put them in
this "no date" category.

Is the item queued for sending? (it will be bold and in italics.) If it
isn't open the message and click send.

The other part of this is... does this always happen on the first item
listed in the Outbox? The reason that I ask is that there are some Outlook
addins that will try to work with items in the Outbox. Any program, macro,
..etc that access a message in the Outbox will put the item in a state where
it can't be sent. One addin that I have seen do this is part of ICQ and its
addin can be disabled from with outlook via tools > options > other >
advanced options > addin manager (and/or com addins).

Hi Neo

I'm sorry about this, but I found this message and think you can help me..
I'm using Windows XP (SP2) and office 2003...
Everything was ok until the last weekend...
I don't no why the outlook started to return errors on sending mesages..
Some like this "SMTP error - 0x800CCC6F - contact your ISP.."""bla bla bla...
The thing is, apparentily nothing is different than before, i didn't change
anything..
The ISP trhow the towel, anad ask me to see a professional (like always)
I've tried to use the outlook express, but the errorr persists. I've deleted
the account (only one) I've been used, ande create it again, carefully,
checking the spells, commas, points, anda the errors persists..
I'm using an antivitus from Norton, with, firewal..I've checked every

For God, do you have any clue ?
Thanks
