I CANT PLAY ANY GAMES!

hi" i have WinXP with Sp2 on a custom biuld"im using sata for my hard drive
and i have 512 ram and a 3000+amd athlon 64 proceser etc.. and for some
reason i canot play any of my games ; i put the cds in to load them and i get
an error while its downloading saying that thers a CD-ROM error or an error
with a file ,Ex."half-life 2 i get a fatal error " FarCry CD-ROM error ,
Joint Ops CD-ROM error, and so fourth.. HELP PLESe!!!

Hi Prometheus,

Sounds like your CD ROM drive isn't properly installed or is
defective. Reinstall the CD ROM drive, and if that doesn't fix
the issue, borrow another CD ROM and try installing the game.

If the game installs, then you'll have to have your CD ROM
drive either serviced, or replaced.
