I can't paste the files after copy

we are using win2k and in trouble while carrying out a
file copy and paste operation.The system is not allowing
to do the operation.
PLEASE HELP!!!!! WHY IT IS HAPPENING SO ????
 
Lately a virus is responsible for this behaviour. Typically an
un-updated Anti-virus missed it. Try using one of the online scans the
anti-virus vedors provide.
