I can't open DB. Jet DBE stopped process... Error 3197

I closed my DB in the normal, usual way. When I tried to open it again I
receive message: "The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process
because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the
same time. (Error 3197)".... I know, this error can occur in a multiuser
environment, but I'm working on single PC, out of any kind of network. Is
there any possibility to extract and save data. Method "Get external data",
pointing to my DB, does not work. Is there any help?

Hi

Its possible you open the same record twice in error. This ould account for
the message. You can try selecting the tables and copying them into another
D Base.

Hello Wayne, your answer imply that I have opened Database, but I haven't.
When I try to open it error message occure. "Get external data", "Compact and
repair", "Convert Database" simply doesn't work. Thanks again for your good
