Every time I am on the internet I get this message:
Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to colse. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
(there is a box with a checkmark) restart microsoft
internet explorer
(two boxes with send error report and don't send)
When I hit send it show the files being sent then an
illegal operation pops up and it says:
Iexplore caused an invalid page fault in module
kernel32.dll at 0167.bff7a138.
And I cannot close it. When I hit don't send it pops
again. and when I take the checkmark off of restart and
then don't send it freezes my computer. And it kicks me
out of aol.
Help!!!! What do I need to do. Aol techs have no clue so I
am coming to the real experts.
Also when I try to start up the internet explorer to
change the size of the letters, I get the same error
message.
Thanks

Unfortunately once it is corrupted by a bad file on your
computer, and dont ask what type, cuz it can be ne type,
mine was a bad video file, and deleteing the vid file
didnt solve the problem. The only recourse, believe it or
not, is to re-istall your operating system. Ive done this
3 times with XP, so I know from experience. There is no
help available newhere in MS knowledge base. Good Luck n
have fun...lol

B. You may need new video drivers. Check the site for your video board
manufacturer. Meanwhile you can do the following:
1. Use the default mouse pointers.
2. Turn down your color depth. (Right click the desktop and choose
Properties | Appearance | Settings) Some people find that increasing color
depth helps.
3. Turn down your graphics hardware acceleration. (For Win 98, Start |
Settings | Control Panel | System | Performance | Graphics button) You will
see little, if any, performance degradation.
4. Turn off your desktop wallpaper.

If these make the problem go away you need new video drivers.

If you have an ATI video board, try adding these lines to System.ini
