| thanks but I did delete Xoftspy and I deleted all versions of java cept for
| version 5... I loaded ad aware and it found many things and took care of
| them.... the handicapped icon is gone but the yellow one is still blinking
| and I still have pop ups. I rebooted and everything... cleaned out my
| cache.. etc.... I'm sorry but the other things you mentioned are too
| complicated for me to follow... but thanks for trying... (what is safe mode)?

Get used to "complicated" solutions. Prevention is better than cure and to use a computer
their are responsibilities that one must adhere to. One is opracticing Safe Hex practices
to PREVENT getting infected.

Safe Mode is a mode of operation that loads a limited version of the OS. In such a mode,
some malware won't load and thus anti malware utilities have a greater efficacy in their
removal.
For those users having trouble getting into Safe Mode, there is the free BootSafe
application:

If you can't handle the steps required for malware removal then take the PC to a reputable
and certified service center.
