I can't get into my own computer!

I have just tried to set up my computer to bypass the Windows welcome
screen, using the instructions at the bottom of this post (which I
found on a website).

I have just noticed that I forgot to "Enter a user name and password
that should be used to logon automatically in the dialog box that
appears". To be honest, I can't even remember having seen the dialog
box.

When I start up my computer, I see the "Log On to Windows" screen, and
a notice saying "Logon Message: Unable to log you on because of an
account restriction". Is it possible that my computer now has no
accounts that can access it? I don't think I've ever given it a
password.

I can't get into my computer at all now. Does anyone have any tips,
other than reformatting my hard drive?

Thanks,

Giles
