i can't get forums to load in ie6

i update from ie5 to ie6 in windows 98 because i was
trying to install norton anti-virus on my machine. now i
can't get any for forums to load on my machine. and when
using ebay the drop down boxes are empty....

please help me.

Check Norton for an option to block popups or scripts.
