I can't fix my CDROM driver!!!

M

Mollie Aldrich

I have some faulty drivers that control my CD-ROM's. When
I go to Device Manager, I have an exclamation point next
to my CD-ROM drivers. When I click on this to see the
problem, it tells me that windows cannot load the device
driver because the driver may be corrupt or missing. I
have used the troubleshooter and tried to uninstall the
driver and then re-install it, but the problem persists.
I have even tried to restore my system, and that doesn't
work either. Any sort of help would be appreciated.

Thank You!!! Mollie Aldrich

First try uninstall/re-install CD-ROM and see if XP loads
the right drivers. If that don't work, go to the cd-rom
manufactures web site and see if they have new drivers to
download. Also be sure the cd-rom is compatable with XP.
....Good luck.
