I can't exit IE6

I can get onto IE fine. I'm using broadband connection. But all of a sudden, I can't exit any IE window! It just refuses to close. I have to press ctrl,alt, del and bring up task manager and exit through that. I've cleared all my temp files and emptied all cookies, restarted etc but nothing is working

I've got Norton anti-virus and I've run that for IE, again no probs with that

Can anyone please help??! I'm really stuck

try to run spybot on easy mode from safer-networking.org
update first and scan to see whats wanting possibly to keep
on the net.

This worked! I used adware 6 from another website,
downloaded and ran the scan. It seems to have fixed the
issue. Thanks so much for your help!
