I cant deleted this infected file on my C drive, HELP!!!

I just ran a scan on my PC, using "freedom" software, it told me that I have
one ingfected file on C drive and I searched it and cannot delete it ( try to
delete it, but got a message saying that it is run or used or something),
please help.
here is where the file name in its entirety
C:\Documents and Settings\Cat Monk\Local Settings\TempIadHide3.dll

File is infected with "W32/Backdoor.KQV" virus. The file could not be deleted.
TempIadHide3.dll

shwo me how to get rid of it!!!

Hi Cat,
Try to start in Safe Mode and open your Windows Explorer on Tools >> Folder
Option and Click Show Hidden Files and Filders and Close the Tools Window.
Refresh and try The Path for the File C:\Documents and Settings\Cat
Monk\Local Settings\TempIadHide3.dll.
Locate the File TempIade3.dll in the Right Pane and Highlite it and Press
SHIFT + DELETE on your Keyboard.
When you Finished Try to alter the Setting for the View Folder in Tools to
Do Not Show Hidden Files and Folders.
To be Sure it is not Doublicate itself run the Search and type the Fle name
TempIade3.dll and select search on both C: & D: if you have two partitions.
Do Full scan in Safe Mode and Scan for Malware with Anti-Spyware from this

Press alt + Ctrl +del and click on processes. in the list there should
be a process that is named 'templadhide3.exe' or something simmilar to
that. click on it and press 'end process'. then locate the file in you
c:\ drive and delete it manually. it should delete now that you have
closed the process that it is running.

You need to use a real time antivirus program, such as Norton Antivirus. I
have no idea what "freedom" software is, so it cannot be very good.

You are trying to lock the barn door after the horses have escaped.

You should immediately buy NIS and install it, and keep it updated.
