I Can't Delete an e-mail account on Outlook

Hi

I am trying to delete an e-mail account. I have outlook 2003 its the most
current. I have an email account that i dont want on outlook. When i go to
tools - email accounts - view or change existing email accounts, the E-mail
Accounts window appears but the email address is not listed... the email is
listed in the drop menu where: Deliver new e-mail to the following location
.... is located... but the email doesnt appear under name and type so i cant
remove.. any suggestions? One more thing.. when i open outlook, the email
address and all the folders (inbox, sent, etc etc..) appear on the left panel
and when i receive email.. it appears in the inbox.. so i know its in
outlook...

close outlook and look in the control panel, mail applet. open your profile
and delete the account from there.
