I can't connect to Sql server 2000

Dear sir,
I have problem in connecting to sql server 2000. I have a server computer
running windows 2000 advanced server, and sql server 2000 enterprice. I
built an ADP project which successfully connected to the server computer.
but when I tried to access the sql server from the same project on a client,
I receive a message: sql server not existant, or access denied. please help.

Are you logging into the other computer with a login that has permission to
SQL Server?

Yes I did create an account with administrator account on the domain, and
added that account to SQL server accounts.
I log into the client with that account to enter the domain group.
Any extra steps to take or is there any guide line or protocol for this
connection.
