This is a Microsoft ACCESS newsgroup. We deal with the application Access
which is part of Microsoft Office Professional.

There a a lot more than simply buying a cable to be able to connect to / or
to see other computers.

If you simply want to connect to your second computer, check Windows Help on
"Home or small office networking".

If you want to connect your computer to a proper Windows network, you need
to contact your network administrator.

BTW, this newsgroup is for Microsoft Access (a database application), _not_
general computer "access".

If you need more help, suggest you post to one of the relevant Windows
newsgroup.
