When i´m starting outlook it stops with an error message "failure". When i´m
trying to edit my accounts from the control panel, the program does not
respond. This happend after a diskfailure but i managed to save all documents
and i managed to restore the *.pst file. I have tried to start from an erlier
date but it is still the same problem. I have also tried to repaire and
reinstall office (2000). I can see my email account data in the register.
What else can I do?

If you have already tried to reinstall Office and are still having problems,
my suggestion would be to scan your computer for spyware....clean it up, make
sure you are current on all your windows/office updates and then try to
re-install Office again.

Can you create a new profile? If you can and you have your PST(s), you
should be able to get back to where you were.

Hej
Thank for your anwsers. No I cannot create a new profile. I have tried also
the cleaning of spyware. I still got an error of "failure" and when i push ok
the Outlook closes. And I can´t open the email in the controlpanel.
I have tried to start outlook with /safe and with clrpst. But nothing works.
