I cannot save a calendar entry in Outlook: folder deleted or missi

I recently re-installed Office 2007 after a complete recovery of my HP.
Outlook is blank and if I try to add an appointment it won't save it and I
get a message the the folder is missing. Re-installing does not help

Create a new mail profile and PST.
