I cannot open hyperlinks received in emails.

Since I changed ISP's I have been unable to connect to the web from links
that I receive in emails via Outlook 2000. I called my ISP and was told that
it was not their problem, but was Microsoft's. I am a novice and don't know
what the problem really is. Can someone please tell me where I go for
assistance? Thanks!
 
Someone had posted the following in another thread...

Open IE and click tools, internet options, programs tab - click reset web
settings. Give it a try!
