I cannot open emails from Outlook 2002 archived on a CD ROM

I have copied Outlook 2002 emails onto a CD-ROm but cannot acces them.
How can I open them? Is there another way to store them on a CD-ROm? I wnat
to delete archived messages from my hard drive.

If the emails are in a PST, the Outlook needs to have read/write access to
the PST before you can open it. Copy it to the hard drive and turn off the
read-only attribute and then you'll be able to open the PST.
