I cannot move subfolder to its folder

I had to create a subfolder "contacts to export" from the folder "contacts"
because I needed to change my email adddress.

Now it is done and I want to delete this subfolder, taking all the contacts
back to the initial "contacts" folder. It seems I cannot either move nor copy
it.

Can you help me, please?
Thanks a lot

Tell us why you can't.
We can.
What are you doing and what happens when you try?

First I tried drag and drop, it did noting. Then I right clicked on "contacts
to export" then move to folder or copy to folder "contacts" with the same
result. Nothing happens

Open the Folder from which you want to move data
Edit > Select All
Then Edit > Move to Folder
