i cannot find my windows.old.folder

I just recently installed windows vista, and all of my old programs did not
show up....all of my old pictures and music are now gone.
I was just wondering if I could access my old programs and how to access the
windows.old.folder, because I cannot find it
plz help! thx!

You will have to reinstall your applications if you want to use them. The
Windows.old folder is sometimes found at the route of your drive C:

Hi,

In addition to Andre, you need to set folder options to see hidden folders.
Click start and type 'control folders', then hit <enter>. On the view tab
you can make the necessary changes. You should then be able to find
windows.old on the root of C:\.

If you upgraded to Vista, your pictures should be in
C:\Users\youraccount\Pictures
and your music in C:\Users\youraccount\Music
